Description

A slightly different giouvetsi but extremely delicious.

What we need:

  • 1.1 lbs ground meat 
  • 2 cups freshly grated tomato
  • salt and pepper (as much as you like)
  • 1 /2 cup olive oil
  • one packet orzo
  • 1/2 kg ground meat 
  • 2 cups freshly grated tomato
  • salt and pepper (as much as you like)
  • 1 /2 cup olive oil
  • one packet orzo

Serves: at least 5

How to do it:

  1. Place all the ingredients, except the orzo, in the baking tray or the Dutch oven.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Put in a preheated oven at 200°C. 
  4. When the ground meat has boiled but is still not completely ready, add the orzo.
  5. When the orzo is cooked, serve with the cheese of your liking.
